Thunder vs Warriors : Warriors put up a fight but fall to Oklahoma City as Thunder improve to 21-1

The Golden State Warriors fought hard at Chase Center on Tuesday night. However, no matter how much they fought, they couldn’t overtake the sensational Oklahoma City Thunder, and fell 124-112. As Draymond Green said after the game, “We’re still 11-11. So we didn’t get a win.”

Shorthanded Golden State had no Stephen Curry and lost Jimmy Butler at halftime to left knee soreness. Warriors had to crawl back from a massive 22 point third quarter deficit. Golden State even took the lead 4 points lead at the start of the 4th quarter. However, defending MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, took control and lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to their record 21 win and 1 loss, finishing Golden State 5 game home stand.

Butler had 6 points and 15 minutes of game time, but came back to the bench to sit for the rest of the game. Head coach, Steve Kerr said he didn’t know how severe Butler\\’s knee Jordan and Kerr also confirmed that Curry has a left quad that’s contused and he’s not going on the 3 game east coast road trip with the team, starting on Thursday, vs the Philadelphia 76ers.
