Ever since Lisa joined BLACKPINK, she has become known for her dancing, singing, and exceptional fashion sense, which her fans anticipate when she tours the world with the South Korean girl group. Recently, her tour outfits are gaining attention, not only for the fabulous styles, but also for her efforts to promote up-and-coming independent fashion designers.

This year, during BLACKPINK’s Bulacan concert, Lisa stunned the audience in an OXGN skirt set. On Day 3 in Singapore, she wore GVN Shoes The Label sneakers, once again showing her love for Filipino brands. 👀

For the curious, on the world tour, Lisa wore the GVN The Label Ballet Sneakers in Chrome. The sneakers feature double strobel Velcro straps on the upper, designed to fit both narrow and wide feet. The shoes are inspired by ballet flats but with a more modern and athletic sneaker design.

Just by the chrome colorway and the heel and side details, these sneakers are a good fit for the Y2K aesthetic, as the sneakers are modern with the hint of metallic gold and silver in contrast with soft pink details.

It was surreal, as GVN The Label described it, and as explained in an Instagram post about how it all started. GVN received a request from a member of Lisa’s team, and it was a couple of days before BLACKPINK’s concert in the Philippines. GVN described the request as “too good to be true”, but they decided to pull the sneakers and ship the request.

With all of the fashion brands available to Lisa, GVN presumed it was all wishful thinking. Fast-forward about a week, and fan account LaliceUpdates posted a video confirming the K-pop icon was wearing GVN sneakers on a concert stage in Singapore.
